I’ve been a student of typographic design since 1994 when I picked up my first copy of U&lc, a tabloid that opened my eyes to the extraordinary world of fonts. I’ve been evolving as a typographic designer ever since.

designerDad maps are painstakingly researched, intricately typeset, and printed in small batches on beautifully vibrant, eco-friendly paper. Prints are available loose (unframed). Limited edition maps are signed and numbered.

designerDad exclusively uses paper from the French Paper Co. and the screenprinting services of Monolith Press. I am not affiliated with Ork Posters. As a rule, I do not design maps of locations that Ork has created. designerDad was first to publish typographic maps for USA, Berlin and Oakland.
